The Cockpit

Fasten your seat belts and brace yourselves for takeoff!

The Cockpit offers kids the chance to feel like true chopper pilots. As they enter the Cockpit, the children elevate by squeezing the handle with one hand while pumping the lever with the other. Once they've reached their desired altitude, they can use the foot pedals to spin around, high above everyone’s heads. The pedaling creates kinetic energy, which is transformed into electrical energy by the aircraft's motor. The pedaling is also responsible for powering the lights. To descend and land safely, all the children have to do is release the handle.
Equipped with an impressive propeller, the Cockpit is a super-fun playground experience that introduces children to concepts such as centripetal force, centrifugal force and aerodynamic weight, thrust and lift & drag.

Fun Chopper Fact

The first helicopter flight took place in 1922 – 19 years after the Wright brothers' first airplane flight.
